Disabling Red Push on 2002 JVC D-Series AV-XXDX03
Red push is an increase in red saturation that was implemented to maintain more natural looking skin tones while still having a very blue white point. This setting is saved in the service menu in 8 different instances for different combinations of picture mode, color temperature, and input. Instructions to turn it off are below.

Standard mode for composite, S-Video, and RF
- Select Input 1 or 3 or antenna
- Use the Video Status button on the remote to select Standard
- Enter the service menu by pressing Sleep Timer so that "Sleep Timer 0" is displayed, and then Video Status and Display at the same time.
- Press Vol+ to enter the V/C(S) section
- Press CH- until you reach S21 NTSC MAT and then press Vol- to set it to zero
- Press the Menu button until you are at the Picture Adjust user menu
- Toggle the Color Temperature setting
- Repeat steps 3-5
Theater Mode for composite, S-Video, and RF
Same as above but select Theater in step 2.
Standard mode for component YPbPr
- Select Input 2
- Use the Video Status button on the remote to select Standard
- Enter the service menu by pressing Sleep Timer so that "Sleep Timer 0" is displayed, and then Video Status and Display at the same time.
- Press Vol+ to enter the V/C(S) section
- Press CH- until you reach S21 NTSC MAT and then press Vol- to set it to zero
- Press the Menu button until you are at the Picture Adjust user menu
- Repeat steps 3-5
Theater Mode for component YPbPr
Same as above but select Theater in step 2.
