Enabling the rear A/V Input

This TV has an unterminated rear input. It was meant to be used with a BNC adapter box, which clips on to the back of the TV and contains a set of auto-terminating BNC jacks.

Without this adapter, connecting a video source directly results in an overly bright image. The front input (Video 2) will still work as normal, however.

To use the rear video input, the TV can be modified to add a 75 ohm termination resistor. After this is done, it will function the same as any JVC consumer TV.

This can be done in one of two ways. R251 can be populated with a 75 ohm SMT resistor (located on the bottom of the PCB under the A/V input). Or, if you'd rather use through hole components, the resistor can be installed between pins 1 and 3 of J002.
