Summary

14" Advent-branded CRT with a full set of inputs from 2003. A great little gem originally manufactured by Prima in China. (There's a Prima-branded model with the same model number save for having an "A" at the end. That model only seemed to have come out in Canada, whereas the States got the Advent model.)

Notes

The Renesas jungle chip this set uses is one of their better ones in my opinion. Component signal looks fairly clean, just some mild color bleed and luma artifacting, nothing major. On a 14" screen with a chunky dot pitch, it looks almost perfect.

Set can accept NTSC and PAL video signals across all inputs. Very handy!

Interestingly, the tube was made by Toshiba at their Thailand plant, the same facility responsible for supplying the tubes for the Orion-shiba sets.

Service Menu

1. Press “DSP SLEEP PIC” button (The period of two-press should be within 5 seconds) enter into factory menu.
2. Use CH+/CH- button to select the menu, use VOL+/VOL- button to enter the function menu.
3. In factory menu status, press MENU button to exit
