Entry level 15" PC monitor designed for 640x480 and 800x600 resolutions. Manufactured by Samsung and bundled with Compaq's Presario line of pre-built PCs in the mid to late '90s.

Notes

Sold as a "multimedia monitor", the HP M50 has a built-in microphone at the top of the tube and attachment points for side-mounted speakers. The front control panel is dominated by a large volume knob that doubles as a power switch. Since the monitor itself has no audio out jacks, it presumably communicates with the PC via the monitor's data pins.

This monitor does not have an OSD, and all adjustments are done via external and internal potentiometers.
