Notes

S-video quality is decent, but there's mild edge haloing to the right of dark pixels. Nothing egregious, but noticeable. The jungle chip was made by Sanyo.

Tube is an RCA/Thomson A68AGA20X made in China. It can be found in many other sets of the time, and it can be used as a donor Japanese candy cabs like the Sega Blast City.

RGB Mod

There is an RGB mod for this model using the OSD mux method. The results are cleaner than s-video, however the edge haloing will remain. Overall, I'd say it is still a significant improvement in picture quality. Link to instructions HERE
