Summary

The Emerson TS2041D is a 20-inch standard-definition color television released in 1991. It was manufactured by Orion Electric in the USA as part of Emerson’s budget-friendly "Television Series" (TS). Characterized by its classic wood-grain aesthetic and curved glass display, it is a very nostalgic display for many people. When it comes to gaming though, the TS2041D is not a very good option. Due to the TS2041D being a budget television, the tv only has a singular rf jack. Due to its lack of ports, the tv is not a big choice in the world of gaming. The TS2041D is no Trinitron but still gets the job done as a nostalgic choice of television.

I bought my TS2041D crt for $50 and ever since then has been a fairly reliable Tv. If I were to say on bad thing about the TS2041D other than the lack of ports is how the tv starts getting super hot while in use and retains its heat for the next 5-10 minutes after being powered off. There is also a few glitches such as the channel select screen getting stuck on. Some good aspects of the tv are the absolutley rad wood panneling on the top and sides of the tv, the wood panneling was actually one of the reasons I bought the tv. Though the tv is not the best quality, it is still a rad television in my opinion.
