User menu can be accessed with the channel buttons, and navigated with the VCR buttons. STOP and PLAY move up and down, and F.FWD selects.
Repair Notes
Unit pictured would shut off after a VHS tape was inserted. Spraying the mode switch with QD Contact Cleaner fixed the issue. It was not necessary to disassemble the mode switch mechanism, spraying the outside of the mechanism which is beneath the VCR tray worked.
