Notes

The off and on buttons double as the volume up and down buttons. The volume must be brought all the way down in order to turn off the set.

There are two service documents inside a plastic compartment on the outside rear of the cabinet. One is for the chassis, the other is for the tuner & remote.

Repair Notes

Having ESR-tested all electrolytics on the sweep board, power board, and floating, three were high ESR/open:

• Sweep Board: C629 100uF 100V (moderately sized)
• Power Board: C951 4.7uF 35V (small)
• C3925 10uF 180V, moderately sized axial floating next to a big polyester capacitor on the left side facing the tube behind the IF/Audio board.

On the unit pictured, even with the focus knob turned all the way counter-clockwise it wasn't enough. I opened the CRT socket connector and put a jumper across the 1MΩ focus resistor to bypass it which improved the focus.
