The picture quality of this set is OK by default, but the pushed reds may not be to everyone's liking. If you wish to diable red push, you can do so in the service menu by setting option "NTSC MAT" to 0. After this, there will still be some harsh red and blue oversaturation, so turn down COLOR in the standard menu until those shades look correct. After that, perform a white balance. It is also advised to turn off VM and sharpening to have clean pixels. After making all these adjustments, you should be good to go. (A before and after comparison is at the bottom of the article.)

This set uses a Toshiba jungle that cannot be tapped for RGB.
