The picture will look fantastic after you make some necessary adjustments. For starters, you MUST turn off red push in the service menu by setting option "NTSC MAT" to 0. (A before and after comparison is at the bottom of the article.) After this, there will still be some harsh red and blue oversaturation, so turn down COLOR in the standard menu until those shades look correct. After that, perform a white balance. It is also advised to turn off VM and sharpening to have clean pixels. After making all these adjustments, you should be good to go!

This set uses a Toshiba jungle that cannot be tapped for RGB. But that's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
