Notes
Uses an older case design compared to the other D-Series model of the time.
The tube in this set is a special model by RCA that uses a flatter curvature and invar shadow mask. It is one of RCA's better tubes, I'd say.
What made the 800 models kind of special was the TV Guide and VCR Plus features, not that those would be very useful nowadays.
JVC's official webpage says this set has 850 lines of horizontal resolution, which is a very sneaky and slimy way to give people the false impression this set has the same sharpness as a PVM or presentation monitor. The actual horizontal resolution is probably around 500 lines, give or take.
