Summary

Portable 9" broadcast monitor with a low TVL slot mask tube, dual composite inputs, and a built in speaker. Designed for portability, it features a carry handle, 12 volt power input, and an optional battery pack.

This monitor uses the same form factor as the TM-1051DG and has a similar feature set, although without the SDI input.

This model was sold in a dual rack mount format as the TM-1011RK.

The plastic used in this model (and other JVC monitors from this time period) is very brittle. The front bezel is susceptible to cracks; for this reason it should be handled with care. These monitors are difficult to ship safely, and often suffer damage in transit.

Like many other JVC pro monitors, this model uses a Toshiba TA1276AN jungle chip and can be modified for RGB input. This method was developed by Martin Hejnfelt and uses an Arduino to set brightness levels for the RGB input. Instructions can be found on the Immerhax.com website.
