This monitor uses a single 2", 1/4 watt speaker for audio, leading to extremely poor audio quality. External speakers are highly recommended.

CCTV monitors often suffer from severe burn in. Fortunately, the same tube is often used in small consumer TVs, so replacements can easily be found. The convergence ring assembly is separate from the yoke, making tube swaps fairly simple.

The Philips jungle chip used in this monitor has an unused set of RGB input pins. It does not use an OSD and all adjustments are performed manually, so adding RGB to this model should be straightforward.
