Summary

High-end 32" HD CRT by Loewe, made in Germany and launched in North America in 1999. Has RF, composite, s-video, component, and VGA input. It can natively scan 480p/960i, 540p/1080i, and upconverts NTSC and PAL signals.

In 1999, Loewe partnered with Sensory Science Corporation (formerly Go-Video) for distribution of their sets in the USA. They were sold in limited numbers and were very expensive for the time. This set is one of their earliest models released stateside.

Notes

The "PB" at the end of the model number stands for "Piano Black" finish. There were Midnight Blue (MB) and Champagne (C) finish variants as well:

Over the years there have been reports of power supply failure and relay faults with these sets. It is advised that if you do find one of these models, be aware it may need servicing at some point in the future.

The VGA input accepts higher resolutions, but the component input is SD only.

This set has velocity modulation. To disable it, go into the service menu and set option byte 5, bit 1 to "0".
