Summary

Amiga monitor which was sold alongside the new Amiga 4000 Tower and the rebadged Amiga 1200 (the one with the new EscomAmiga logo).

This monitor was available with or without stereo speakers attached. Some versions were also fitted with a 15pin VGA connector whilst others came with an Amiga 23pin monitor connector.

Notes

  • Only accepts HV Sync or TTL level csync - you can use a Sync Striker to connect your SCART consoles to this monitor.
  • Requires 240v AC power (190-265v is OK).
  • Connector is standard Amiga DB23 and you can use an Amiga DB23 to VGA adapter to connect other equipment. There is a pinout guide at the end of the Owner's Manual PDF.

Opening the Chassis

There are 3 screws - two on the bottom corners (Torx T20 security bits) and one Philips screw by the captive cable outlet. Once you have the screws removed there are two pinholes you must stick an object through to release clips inside the top of the case (see image below). I used the tips of multimeter probes to do this but a bent bobby pin or paperclip might do.
