Summary
One of the very last direct-view CRT televisions manufactured by Mitsubishi for the states. Sold from mid-1997 to around March 1998. It is the only consumer CRT television set by Mitsubishi with component inputs.
Notes
The picture tube was manufactured in Japan, and assembled with the chassis at Mitsubishi's Braselton, GA facility. Has TV Guide+ built in, not that it's very useful these days. This set has "Diamond Series" emblazoned on the front. The only other set of the time to have that labeling is model CS-36609, but that one doesn't have component input. It also utilizes dual tuners for PiP.
Component video quality is pretty great, although there is a bit of a "luma shadow" that is cast to the side of contrasting pixels. Still looks quite good, all things considered.
