Summary

NEC's first 26" CRT, launched in 1985. A great set for the time. Has multiple RF, composite inputs/outputs with stereo sound. Chassis was originally manufactured in Japan and assembled with the American made picture tube in the USA.

Complementing the surround sound technology, of course, is the advent of high-quality, high-resolution stereo television monitors. In The Media Room, the Dolby processor is combined with a JVC AV-2690 26-inch high resolution monitor-receiver with stereo reception ($1,000), or a NEC CT-2610A 26-inch high-resolution monitor-receiver with stereo reception ($900).
