Summary

NEC's first 26" CRT, launched in 1985. A great set for the time. Has multiple RF, composite inputs/outputs with stereo sound. Originally manufactured in the USA.

Complementing the surround sound technology, of course, is the advent of high-quality, high-resolution stereo television monitors. In The Media Room, the Dolby processor is combined with a JVC AV-2690 26-inch high resolution monitor-receiver with stereo reception ($1,000), or a NEC CT-2610A 26-inch high-resolution monitor-receiver with stereo reception ($900).
