Notes
The Superflat tube designs were introduced in 1991 in the Prism CTP-3196SF, but didn't see wider release until the next year. The early Superflats used a tube that was quite literally flatter than previous models, hence the name. However, as the years went by, Superflat/GAOO-branded sets would feature different tube models that were more curvaceous, so the name lost it's meaning.
To adjust geometry and RGB levels, you can tweak POTs on the main PCB and neckboard. Red is VERY hot on these sets, so it is highly recommended you turn it down.
The Panasonic-made jungle chip has decent processing for s-video, although the signal could be a bit cleaner.
This XF Series model is especially high end thanks to having three s-video inputs, 20 watt speaker amps, and audio EQ adjustment in the menu. This set is wonderful for VHS and Laserdisc content, in my opinion.
