This set is a hidden gem, as it has component video, and potential for RGB modding. It also has a SONY audio controller with 2.1 surround, and a headphone jack. There are also two carrying handles under the speakers, which make it a lot easier to move/handle.

the service menu can be a bit difficult to navigate without a remote and service manual, so if you plan to adjust anything in the service menu, a universal remote and copy of the service manual is recommended.

one of the downsides to this set is that it was made during the Capacitor Plague, which may cause reliability and picture issues, this can be solved with a re-cap, just be sure to be careful when doing any work on this, or any CRT set.
