Notes

All Panasonic HD CRTs are lag-free 480p and 1080i. Component looks magnificent.

Like the other Tau HD CRT models for that year, this model has the option to toggle between processing modes for 15khz signals. In TV MODE 240p/480i is linedoubled to 480p and has a blocky appearance. However, in GAME MODE those signals have artificial black scanlines overlaid giving it the appearance of true 240p/480i! This option can only be enabled for composite and s-video. While on the 4:3 HD models it was a pleasant surprise, it is even more fascinating to see it on this widescreen model.
