Every Panasonic HD CRT has lagless 480p and 1080i, and this model is no exception. 240p/480i are linedoubled and reportedly (according to Shankmods) have no latency!

This set is a bit odd in it's processing. I have been told that HDMI has better picture quality than component. HDMI seems to go through more picture processing stages and picks up noise as a result.

Repair Notes

One unit had it's internal support struts broken, the electrical tape holding the degaussing coil in position had come completely undone in parts, and the tabs on one side of the tilt coil were broken and so it was also out of position. There were no cracks in the cabinet so there was no outward indication that some bits had broken and gotten out of place internally.
