Notes

One of the at least fourteen model numbers of 10-inch Panasonics from the early 1990s using an identical case and nearly identical chassis. This specific model is black, RF-only, takes AC or DC power, and was sold in America. Canadian models have chassis codes preceded with Y, and models with composite video have an L inserted into the chassis code. All models are cold-chassis with isolation transformers. The jungle chip used across all models cannot be OSD-modded for RGB, as the OSD circuitry is incapable of displaying blue.

  • run both wires through the PCB hole near the tuner
  • solder a dual throw switch with the L106 wire to Common and the R109 wire to one side
  • solder a 75 ohm resistor between line and ground of an RCA connector. connect ground to chassis ground (there's a nearby screw) and line to the other lead of the switch
