Notes
The s-video quality is superb on this set. Perhaps the examples provided in 240p are not the best examples, as the cables used didn't have the best shielding. But in 480i you can tell it looks truly stunning.
This set is essentially a consolized variant of Panasonic's then-new GAOO/SuperFlat sets. It uses a tube with a very shallow curvature, which was impressive for the time. The early SuperFlats also were packing high-quality "DOME" speakers with subwoofers for nice bass.
