An impressive 38" HD CRT by RCA/Thomson, made specifically for the advent of high-definition broadcasting and DVD technology. Made in Mexico in 2000. (Uses the same chassis as the Proscan PS38000.)

Notes

The unique 38"-viewable tube is an RCA model made in the United States. The same tube can be found in the Loewe Aconda ACO9383 (US) and ACO93102 (EU). However, it is reported that these tubes do not age the best, developing a blurry appearance over a relatively shorter time compared to other tubes. Still, it can look terrific when in good condition.

This set displays 480p and 1080i natively, which is confirmed via timesleuth. 720p is only accepted via tuner and it is converted to 1080i.
