Repair Notes

Unit pictured would not produce color, cause undetermined. All of the chroma IC waveforms appeared to be present and at appropriate levels except for the RGB outputs which all had the same waveform shape with the color bars test pattern. Replacing the chroma chip had no effect. Adjusting the variable capacitor connected to the 3.58 MHz crystal had no effect. There was also an issue with the brightness and contrast fluctuating to extremes on its own.
