Summary
A great 35" Sanyo TV with component inputs. As far as I can tell, this was the very first Sanyo CRT model with component inputs, released in 2002. (They were a bit late to the party, but better than never.) There is a variant of this model with a silver case as opposed to a gray one released in Canada, model DS35224. (Pics below.)

Notes
This set handles component video very well, which is thanks to it using a Sony-made jungle chip. There is a mild "luma shadow" going on, but it is hardly detrimental. Picture tube is an RCA model that is pretty much the same as the 36" model that went into sets by JVC, Hitachi, RCA, and other brands of the time, save for it being 1" smaller. This set is definitely an underappreciated gem, and in my opinion, the best standard-definition Sanyo TV released in North America.
