Picture quality is fairly poor over component I'd say. The jungle chip is a Sanyo-made one which produces nasty ringing in the signal that you cannot turn off. It affects all the signals, in fact. If you care about having unadulterated pixel art for retro games, I'd recommend passing on this one. Only get it as a cheap starter set, or as a burner for casual television or movie viewing.
