Summary
Marketed as a multiscan character display - supports a wide variety of input scan ranges from 15Khz to 34Khz.
The CPD-1302, while seemingly similar on the outside to the 1303, has an m-class M34JNQ15X tube which is 600 TVL. The front bezel design of the 1302 is also more similar to the Sony GVM series than it is the CPD series.

Notes
The pinout for the DB-9 RGB input is standard CGA like Sony's other monitors that take RGB via DB-9 input. You can see the pinout diagram in the owner's manual and service manual. I believe most DB9 male to HD15 female adapters will be pinned correctly for this already.
