Common Repairs

The switches for all of the push-buttons on the front have rubber actuators inside which go bad with age. If your buttons don't work you will have to remove the front panel and replace the switches. Don't forget to replace the 3 switches related to channel tuning behind the door too, especially the "Channel Clear" switch. If the channel clear switch is left broken you won't be able to switch channels even after replacing all of the other buttons. More info (and a recommended part # at the time of writing) here.
