Two similar models with the same chassis but an additional front A/V input were also produced; the 13M52 and 13M53.
The jungle chips used in BA-4 and BA-4D chassis Trinitrons are very versatile. As such, these TVs can be modified for RGB input, Component video, and S-Video. When modified, picture quality on these TVs is exceptionally sharp.
The unit pictured here has been modified for component video, hence the extra input jacks. This TV would normally just have a single set of yellow and black RCA inputs.
