This CRT features a front "AV HIT" input (also referred to as the Uniconnector in non-Japanese markets) — a proprietary blue TRRS phono connector that combines composite video and stereo audio into a single cable. Although it is visually similar to a regular phono RCA connector, they are physically incompatible.

Since the power button is a mechanical on-off switch, using the remote to turn off the TV will only put the TV in standby mode.

This CRT is equipped with a manual switch on the rear which toggles between northern Japan’s 50Hz AC power standard and southern Japan’s 60Hz AC frequency. This allows users to manually set the unit to operate per regional electrical grid specifications.
