Remote is required to enter service menu. With the set turned off, press "DISPLAY", "5", "VOL(+)", and POWER, each individually within a second. See service manual for more info.
This set uses the CXA2061S jungle chip (labeled IC301) as mentioned the service manual. This jungle chip allows for the following mods: RGB via Mux, Component YPbPr. Although there are no pictures of the A board, the procedure should be nearly identical to the guide written by Matt Ross (6tanks) and should provide the necessary insight for those who wish to perform the mod. Instructions for the Component YPbPr mod are available on the KV-20S40 article.
