Summary

Multiformat 15/31Khz (citation needed for in-between scans like 24Khz) medical monitor exclusive to Europe (hence the E at the end of the model). 480/576p capable.

The specifications read that the monitor runs at 100Hz - it is important to note that it is simply doubling the standard 50Hz PAL signal to 100Hz to eliminate whine and flicker. This does not mean the monitor accepts native 100Hz signals. Note that 100Hz reduces flicker at the cost of ruining motion clarity for the 50Hz sources -Aelius on /crt/ Discord.

Note This monitor has digital (laggy) processing for 240p/480i signals! [1]

  • HR Trinitron CRT provides a high resolution of 550 TV lines (maximum resolution of the field doubling digital device circuit) at 15 kHz and 800 TV lines with progressive scan
  • EBU standard phosphors
  • Digital PAL comb filter for accurate image reproduction
  • Field doubling scanning reduces flicker phenomenon
  • Accepts composite, Y/C, RGB and component (Y/R-Y/B-Y) signals
  • Fluid resistance with the supplied side covers
  • RS-232C remote control capability
