Notes

The channel buttons on the set can change to the front input as will as bring up the user menu to change picture settings. Play and Stop move up and down the menu, and Fast Forward selects a menu option.

Accessing the service menu requires having an additional remote and soldering fairly small pins on the IC inside it.

The VCR is internally connected to the jungle chip using composite video. This jungle chip does have a separate chroma input on pin 28, but being able to switch to it would require changes in the jungle's software settings. OSD appears to be digital.
