Summary

A generic 19" television branded by Thomas Radio Corp from 1986. Thomas was an Importer/Reseller of Far East (China) that made nostalgic consumer electronics. Originally manufactured by Admiral Overseas Corporation in Taiwan.

Notes

You may notice some ringing/haloing in the picture below, and I think this is luma contrast processing going on. I believe the sharpness control is an internal POT on the chassis, though I am uncertain.

There is an audio output over a 6.35mm jack. I believe it's monaural, but I could be mistaken. Then again, if it was stereo, there possibly would have been a control for it on the set itself.

The 19" picture tube this set is packing was made by Philips at their Taiwan facility. What is convenient is that the tube is a drop-in replacement for an Electrohome G07 arcade chassis, and possibly others. AOC sets from this time
