Notes

Set has velocity modulation that cannot be disengaged in the user menu or service menu. If you want to disable it, you must disconnect a jumper from the neckboard inside the set.

This set uses a Renesas jungle chip that has a design flaw. When using component, it has misaligned chroma. The only way to correct this issue completely is to RGB mod the set.

So given the Cinema Series tradition, this set should use higher-wattage speakers, right? Actually no. They're the same 5W speakers as the other 27" AFs. What distinguishes this model against the standard 27AF43 are the following features:

• 3 line dig. comb filter vs 3D Y/C dig comb filter
• Has movie and sports picture modes
• Color temperature control
• Two s-video inputs as opposed to one
• Tilt correction
