Summary

Very small and compact SVGA PC Monitor with a very fine-pitched shadowmask tube from Samsung. All of the other 9" viewable SVGA monitors I've seen use this same Samsung tube - M23LCD32X02.

The controls on the front are analog - there are adjustments for horizontal position, vertical size/position, brightness, and contrast. Horizontal size is adjustable inside the monitor, but does not have much extra width to provide beyond the factory calibration. There is also two h-phase adjustments, a pincushion adjustment, and some others.

Designed for applications where high display quality is a must and space is at a premium, such as POS (Point of Sale), Teller Station of Banks, ATM Banking machine, etc. The CRT display is high contrast, high resolution, compact, and small footprint 10-inch color or 9-inch monochrome super VGA Monitor.

Literature

  • No manuals or brochures available at this time.

Notes

These monitors were used as POS terminal displays when color and clarity were required in a small form factor. They are somewhat hard to find these days and very desirable for use in DIY arcade cabinets.

From researching the FCC ID it seems this chassis was used for many applications including a LeCroy digital oscilloscope LC574AM.

The VGA and power cables are hard-wired into the rear and are very long.
