Notes

The rear AV input is mounted in a SCART-shaped cutout in the case. However, the design of the PCB does not reflect this. It does use a Toshiba jungle chip that can be modified for RGB inputs via the OSD Mux method.

This TV uses a 19" viewable tube with a CR-23 socket, which makes it a potential replacement for 19" arcade monitors.

Samsung sold versions of this TV under their own brand name, with slight differences such as an extra AV input on the front. These were the TXJ-1966 and TXJ-1996.
