Summary

High performance dot mask 20" CRT from Hitachi. The CM813 is one of the highest performing dot mask 20" from Hitachi - it can scan up to 115kHz horizontal. It precedes only the CM814 and CM815 in performance.

In the manual, the maximum resolution is listed as 1856x1392@71Hz with 250MHz of available video bandwidth. Standard VESA maxes would be1600x1200@95Hz or 1280x1024@160Hz.

With the extremely high horizontal scan range and high video bandwidth provided, you should be able to reach 2048x1536@75Hz if desired.

It has been confirmed that the vertical refresh can go up to 200Hz on this model, despite the manual noting the max as 160Hz.

There is also a SuperScan 813 "Plus" model which has ever-so-slightly higher ranges on refresh rates and kHz.

The Gateway VX1110 is a rebrand of this monitor.

Notes

It seems there is currently no way to adjust RGB bias, sub contrast and some other options without the factory calibration software, which is currently lost media. Thankfully, RGB gains are adjustable through the user-facing OSD.
