Summary

In 1999 JVC launched the D-Series television line-up. Even after unparalleled success with the D-Series line, JVC is not a company to rest on its laurels. For the year 2000 the line-up is back and promises all of the same, and more, great features. We know that our D-Series has to offer the ability to satisfy customer needs today, and in the future. For this reason, all D-Series TVs come with a DVD Component Input. Simply stated, when we created the D-Series, we put together all of our best features with enhanced video and audio capabilities to deliver a picture more vibrant, and sound more natural than any other standard definition TV line-up.

Notes

This B revision now uses an LG tube, with a yoke with about the same horizontal inductance as prior close to 1mH, though a higher vertical inductance at 25mH as opposed to 21mH.

Unlike horizontal position which is adjustable in the service menu, vertical position is controlled by a three-position switch inside the set on the main PCB.

Composite 240p is riddled with horizontal dot artifacts from the 2-line comb filter. An external notch-based composite decoder would avoid those artifacts, guide here.
