Picture quality through S-Video is very clean, and it includes a comb filter for improved composite quality.

Opening the service menu on this TV requires momentarily jumping two test points (FA1 and FA2) at the back of the main chassis PCB.

This model does not have a TV tuner or remote control support. Both of those features were included in the CT-1386VY.

Many components including the tube, yoke, and flyback, are identical to Panasonic's consumer TVs from the same period. Therefore, finding donor TVs for replacement parts is not difficult.
