30" Realflat HD CRT by Philips launched in 2005, one of their very last CRT TVs released in North America. Has RF, composite, s-video, component and HDMI inputs with stereo sound. Accepts 240p/480i, 480p, 720p, and 540p/1080i. Originally manufactured in Mexico.

Notes

On the rear of the set, the upper HD component input (HD CVI) can accept ED/HD signals, unlike the lower component input (CVI) which is only for standard definition.

The connections for velocity modulation are 3-wire connectors labelled 1361/1362 on the neck board, which can be unplugged to disable:

Even after disabling VM, the picture quality of this set is underwhelming. There is harsh ringing/haloing artifacts in the signal that you cannot turn off.

The number of frames of lag per resolution/input are listed below. The lowest lag results were at 480p.

Unlike Philips' A02U AA chassis, the Guncon 2 does not work even with 2-point calibration. No light guns tested worked correctly.
