Summary

Very neat "gamer" themed CRT from the 90s made by Samsung (in Mexico). The tube inside is a very low TVL consumer grade 13" and the speakers are nothing to write home about but the overall presentation is still extremely cool. As a kid in the 90s I would have loved to own this. The folding speaker doors are just too cool.

Despite lacking S-Video input you still have a surprising number of input options on the back - there is two different coax jacks so you can have either two RF systems or one RF system and a TV signal connected simultaneously, and there two composite inputs. There is also a loopback output if you want to chain your input signal to another composite display or set of speakers.

The speakers are sort of "fake" - they have the appearance of 2+ configuration with tweeters but inside each door is only a single 5W woofer. The subwoofer in the top rear is ported inside and sounds decent enough considering its plastic. Pictures of the door speaker and subwoofer shown in the Gallery below.

Notes

The jungle chip accepts analog RGB input so a direct RGB mod should be possible. It also supports Y/C for S-Video.

Disassembly instructions can be found in the service manual. The bottom stand needs to be removed in order to remove the rear shell and access the board inside. You also need to unplug the subwoofer cable inside.
