Summary
A pretty good 32" HD CRT by Samsung. It can do native 480p and 1080i without lag, but 240p/480i is processed with latency. Originally manufactured in Mexico in 2003.

Notes
You can access the service manual using any compatible remote - turn the TV off (standby mode), then Press "MUTE 1 8 2 POWER".
This Micronas jungle chip has annoying color fringing artifacts in component video. Adjusting service menu options "LTI" and "CTI" will help, but it will never look perfect. There is also velocity modulation that can only be disabled by unplugging the jumper connecting the yoke to the neckboard.
Voltage regulation leaves a bit to be desired, as I found the raster would bloom a bit during brightness transitions. It is still better than most consumer sets, however.
If you pop open the set there's an "Easter egg" of sorts on the Korea-produced picture tube. If you look on the top of the anti-implosion band, there's the words "34"OMEGA" emblazoned on a sticker. Apparently this tube was the largest Samsung produced, and they must have been very proud of it:
Geometry is lackluster on these sets, especially linearity. If you look at the grid picture, the middle of the raster is shifted slightly to the right with the left side being fatter. If you adjust the horizontal size to see the full width via the service menu, you will see that the right edge will fold in on itself. (Apparently the pixel clock is not up to the task.) Therefore, the raster must remain overscanned a bit to hide the folding.
Overall, this is a pretty good (but still kind of flawed) set. With some tweaks, I found it could look really nice for 480p content.
