Design sets the Samsung TX-P3264 apart, with a sleek silver cabinet that blends perfectly with any décor. The future is unlocked with progressive scan DVD (480p) and 1080i HDTV compatibility. Simply add a newer Samsung Progressive Scan DVD player or a Samsung HD receiver/decoder to enjoy a sharper, clearer picture. All analog sources are digitally processed and presented in the better flicker-free progressive scan, making regular TV better. With a built-in equalizer and custom sound modes the TX-P3264 keeps the dialog clear and the sound the way you like it. Samsung’s 3:2 Pull Down corrects the flaws inherent in film to video transfers allowing you to see the picture the director intended. Uncompromised picture quality, understandable audio, and affordability are delivered with high brightness and all the clarity one would expect from a leader in flat digital TV, Samsung.

Notes

This set uses the K61A chassis, one of their very last sets to have native 480p and 1080i.

Like most Samsung televisions, you can access the service manual using any compatible remote - turn the TV off (standby mode), then Press "MUTE 1 8 2 POWER".

This set has Velocity Modulation. To disable it, unplug the jumper connecting the yoke to the neckboard.

The Micronas jungle chip has some flawed YPbPr processing by default. There are luma and chroma transition errors in the image that may bother some. It is recommended to adjust service menu items LTI and CTI to correct this. Afterward, the resulting image will be much cleaner.
