Picture quality over component is mostly pretty good, save for some luma artifacting to the right of dark pixels. Not sure if its due to the Philips jungle chip or some other processing working in tandem with it, but it is something worth noting. I didn't recall seeing that artifacting in the OSD, so it may very well be something else in the chain that's to blame.

Now here's a trick I recommend: For component, calibrate the set to be displayed using the CUSTOM picture preset, and for displaying composite and s-video use the STANDARD picture preset. Component does not look its best by default, so it is advised you do a white balance for that signal to improve it, while at the same time not affecting the other signals. Have fun!
