Notes

On this TV, a remote is required to access the menu and adjust picture settings. Later revisions use the volume up & down buttons to open the menu, but that feature is not present on this model.

Unlike most TVs, the service menu can be accessed and navigated without the use of a remote.

These TVs were sold with the contrast level set to maximum. Picture quality will improve significantly if the contrast is reduced to normal levels.

This TV uses the same jungle chip as the 13K-M100B, and can be RGB modded using the same method. However, the board layout is slightly different and not all the solder pads are in the same location. If you want to reference the RGB mod guide for that model, make sure to verify that your wiring connects to the right pins on the jungle chip.

There is a large number of tubes listed as possible candidates for this chassis. All of them are cross-compatible, and the one you get in your 13J-M100 depends entirely on what the factory had available at the time.
