Summary

20" Trinitron Color TV from Sony. Has RF and composite input.

The front appears to have two speakers but there is only one. On this example the front AV port did not open - I don't recall seeing any front AV jacks on the board inside either. This would indicate it only has one AV (composite) input.

Notes

Easily RGB moddable by following other BA-1 chassis instructions. A SCART port can be fitted to the rear input board if you remove the empty plastic connector on the inside. I used a simple hacksaw to take it off. The entire rear plastic of the input board can be removed to work on, by releasing its 3 retaining clips and pulling. The RF connector will come off with it. I suggest orienting the SCART port upside-down as pictured below, so that the wire goes outward away from blocking the other two inputs.

Connection points for sync (yellow wire), audio (green wire) and ground (black wire) are shown below. The RGB and Blanking connections go to the CC board header (shown below). Sometimes this connector is populated with a board - just remove it, its only purpose is closed captions display.

The Mario and Ms. Pac Man shots below are via RGB, not composite. The CRTDB thumbnail is composite.
