Summary
Cute little CRT with a handle which doubles as a mounting point for under-cabinet mounting hardware. Shares the same tube as some Sony PVMs (see below).
Literature
Notes
- Shares the same A-class CRT as the PVM 8041/42Q and many others. Click the tube name from the spec list to see more.
- No OSD adjustment is possible - all color adjustments are done with knobs on the side and the geometry adjustments are internal potentiometers.
- Horizontal width is controlled by a width coil.
DO NOT STICK ANYTHING METAL INSIDE A WIDTH COIL FOR ADJUSTMENT. YOU WILL BREAK THE COIL AND, IF THE CRT IS ON, YOUR YOUR SCREWDRIVER WILL BECOME EXTREMELY HOT INSTANTLY. You must use plastic arcade adjustment tools.
S-Video Mod
You can upgrade this chassis with S-Video. Simply connect your Luma signal to the input pin for composite video, connect your ground to the composite input ground, and then connect chroma to the spot shown in the image below (right-click and open in new tab to enlarge)
