The set under test had noticeable ringing due to sharpness being too high at the midpoint level. Reducing sharpness all the way down addressed this.
There is a vertical position potentiometer on the main PCB. The DVD drive is internally connected via Y/C, and so the set can be S-Video modded. The OSD (user menu) unfortunately exhibits severe ringing, so while an RGB mux mod is doable, it's not particularly recommended.
