Notes

The C27J28B uses the same chassis as the Insignia NS-27RTV and Toshiba 27D46.

Like most TVs made by Orion, it is not possible to change video inputs using the front panel, and a remote must be used. Most universal remotes will work, and use an Orion code rather than Zenith.

Unlike many 27" TVs sold in the US, this model uses a 110 degree tube and has a full set of horizontal geometry controls in the service menu.

Component video has a significant amount of red push and some edge enhancement effects, some of which can be minimized by adjusting the picture settings in the user menu. These effects are less pronounced with S-Video and composite, however, and in some cases S-Video can give a cleaner picture than component.

This TV includes an ATSC digital tuner, and can still receive modern broadcast television through an antenna.

While previous Orion TVs used Mitsubishi/Renesas jungle chips, this generation uses Sanyo LA series chips instead. While it does use a separate Micon/Jungle design, it appears to be configured for digital RGB and most likely cannot be modified.
